Surface hardening

We use gas or electric furnaces in which heat is transferred by flowing hot air. This operation is performed at temperatures from 150° to 470° C (depending on the coating type) under a precise computer-controlled thermal curve. In addition, thermocouples are used to control the flame hardening process.

Powder coating hardening is an operation which is decisive for the mechanical properties of coating as well as for its chemical and corrosion resistance and sometimes even its appearance.
